Welcome!

staff 001Rheumatologists are internists or pediatricians who have additional Fellowship training in rheumatology. They specialize in the treatment of arthritis, musculoskeletal pain disorders, autoimmune diseases and osteoporosis.

At the Northern California Arthritis Center we have made every effort to customize our facility to the unique needs of our patients. We provide a comfortable and efficient infusion suite, extremity MRI and state-of-the-art bone density testing for osteoporosis. Our numerous on-site services allow us to assess your condition quickly and minimize visits to other sites for testing.

Laboratory Tests

Most health plans require that you obtain your laboratory studies from a contracted facility. We will assist you in any way that we can but because each plan varies, you need to know where you are required to have any tests performed. If you are not sure which facility is contracted with your health plan, please contact your member service representative. If you go to an out-of-network facility, it could result in a higher cost to you.

Regarding your test results, please allow 2 to 3 working days for the results of your test(s) to be sent to our office and reviewed by the physician. If there are any significant findings, the physician/nurse will contact you and give you any instruction that is required. Test results which are within normal limits will not be reported to you, however, we invite you to discuss all of the findings at your next appointment with the physician.
